We make this style of Sofa-bed Mattress to fit our popular range of futon sofa-beds, but are being contacted by customers wanting to replace similar products that have gone flat prematurely, with the best options of fillings at a weight and thickness to provide a comfy replacement sofa bed mattress, we are not here to confuse you, so If you have a frame that resembles these images, then we can supplier a superior mattress than your original, this style of frame is widely used by Ikea and many other suppliers. We only offer a great quality Sofa-bed mattress as standard, and do not offer layered fillings of wool-felt, on this frame unlike many, the reason being as you can see from image of frame,the amount of support to mattress is far less than a futon frame, we use a high resilience reflex foam as the base layer, this gives the right support with reduced sagging between the slats, thus being more comfortable, than cheaper fillings.
Please Note - This mattress is not suitable for mechanisms which roll mattresses up and are folded into the seat section, these style of sofa beds use extra cushions as seating and thinner mattresses, ours would be too thick for this style.

Fantastic Mattress!
Our sofa bed frame is in great condition but the old foam mattress had lost it's support and as it was in 3 parts, was always coming apart. Plus the original cover (that held it all together) was not that nice so always had throws to cover it up We decided on this replacement mattress after speaking to Mark from Funky Futon to confirm it would be the best type for our (slatted) frame. It arrived in just a few days and it's amazing! The memflex mattress is firm and very comfy to lie on or sit on and the Aubergine colour is so nice that we don't need to cover it up anymore, it looks awesome as it is. The whole thing feels very high quality. There are vecro straps on the back so it folds with the frame and pulls the angle in following the frame for your backside. It's like getting a brand new sofa-bed!!
