Pocket Sprung futons are a hybrid on the Traditional futon support giving more "give" than just traditional cotton, some people love the spring these futons offer , ideal if you are heavier and need more give to contour to your shape we recommend this mattress for bed use only.
These are ideal if you are heavier or generally sleep more on your side, mattress will contour more to your shoulders and hips. We recommend this mattress for bed use only. Natural Cotton Drill only.
We Recommend turning your bed futon mattress at least every month on a raised platform bed with plenty of ventilation for mattress.
New Bed Mattresses should be turned top to toe over, then side to side, so to "Air" but mainly condition the mattress, this is the final compression of fillings once you start to sleep on them, we cannot get all of the air from the cotton fibers when freshly built even though we mechanically compress mattresses in manufacture.
We recommend turning every 2 - 3 days for first couple of weeks through cycle above so all four quaters of mattress have even compression and use, after this once a month at least, If you are using your mattress on the floor even with frequent turning it can get damaged, e.g poor ventilation, your mattress will become damp as it has no way of "Airing the moisture the cotton drawer in continued use from it owner" a simple platform like the Shiki bed base will provide this Air Gap.
