Fantastic product and service

Extremely happy with the sofa-bed! Has been used as both a sofa and a bed now and still have no regrets at all after a month or two. Had a call from the guys to confirm all my selections and to arrange delivery day so was all happy with that. All turned up on time with a friendly driver. As I had been told was not a big deal to do the up the stairs bit myself. Went together in an hour or so and all sturdy and well made. Looks fantastic and the free sample send was definitely a fantastic way to make sure of this before hand. Possibly more comfy than my main sofa to sit on and had great feedback from the guests who stayed on the bed. Can't recommend highly enough and the drawer on the Edinburgh was definitely worth having as it stores away two plump pillows perfectly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Perfect

I have the king size Edinburgh futon sofa bed in chenille fabric with the Pocket Flex mattress and I love it! My two granddaughters have both slept comfortably on it as have I. It is comfortable, roomy and good looking as a bed and as a sofa. Built to a high standard, I couldn't be happier with it. The fitter was a lovely, pleasant young man who expertly assembled the futon.

After Sales Service

This is a very comfortable bed and it folds up into an equally comfortable sofa. Today I needed to move it from an upstairs study to a downstairs room and couldn't work out how to fold down the frame and legs to make it easier to move. When I phoned Funky Futon the young man was very helpful. We had a video call and he explained what I needed to do. I folded up the frame and was very pleased that I had the arms etc removed and the bed folded up when my nephew arrived to move it for me. I am a 72 years old woman and the fact that I could manage to do this by myself demonstrates how very well Funky Futon's products are designed and engineered.

Excellent Product and Service

Very well made, solid & sturdy. Paid for the best quality mattress which is very comfortable. Easy to put up/down and the under bed storage makes storing bedding when not in use. The service I received was top-notch too, reliable with excellent communication. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with this, we needed it in a hurry as we had visitors arriving from the USA, so my husband picked it up. The company went out of their way to sort it quickly for us, and it was really easy to put together. The quality is fantastic, and the bed is so comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone, well worth what we paid.

Great Sofa Bed

Fantastic sofa bed, been searching for a while to find a sofa bed that would fit into our converted basement which had a very narrow doorway and this is perfect. Customer service was brilliant, answered all questions prior to purchase, when it arrived they took it straight downstairs and assembled it for us where it was going and is of great quality.

Great Sofa Bed

Absolutely love this futon sofa bed. It's compact and folds out easily into a great bed. The bed is a lot better than most of the usual type of sofa beds, and it transforms from a sofa into a bed quickly and easily. The customer service is superb and i was impressed that the guys came up to me in Scotland and set the futon up and explained the operation. You just can't get this kind of futon anywhere else. Excellent

Great customer service, personalised. Excellent the futon. It is meant for my guests but I have spent many a night on it as it is so comfortable. When guests visit they also have high praise for the futon. It makes for a comfortable night. I bought the Edinburgh king size with Georgian mahogany stain, pocket mattress, with drawer, aqua terra orange. It is also very comfortable as a sofa. II would highly recommend 10/10 for quality, looks and customer service.

Edinburgh sofa bed

Bought as a compact sofa and for occasional use as a small double bed. It looks good, and it's really comfortable for both uses. Andrew from Funky Futon was very helpful and patient with our indecision over the fabric and wood choices, providing swatches and wood samples. Couldn't be happier with our purchase.

My brother stayed over last week and slept on the futon. He says he slept like a log. Futon is very comfortable as a bed.

Lovely piece of furniture

I bought the small double sofa bed for my spare bedroom as it doesn't get used a bedroom very often. It's a very comfortable sofa, though it's not been used as a bed yet. Easy to put together - I sat downstairs watching telly, while the delivery guys did it - and very easy to switch from sofa to bed and back. I'd recommend this product and I'd recommend the company. Excellent furniture and excellent service.

Excellent for week long stay

Bought the Edinburgh king size with a drawer for my in laws visit last month. Great bed, they had a good sleep on it for their 1 week stay. Instructions to build the bed can be a little vague, but Andrew is always on hand if their are any queries. Bed was order, fabricated and delivered to north Scotland in 3 weeks. Amazing service!

Absolutely excellent

We are delighted with this. It was worth upgrading to the sprung mattress and higher end covering as it gives a real quality feel and means it can be used for everyday use. Looks great in the corner of our office and has effectively given us a spare room for stayover guests. Worth mentioning it actually works as well as a bed. Typical Yorkshire company (in a good way), delivery when they say and a product worth buying.

Amazing sofabed

After months of searching for a sofabed for our quest room that would sleep two but would fit in the limited space we have I finally found the Edinburgh futon sofabed and it was love at first time. We had it altered by the company to make sure it fits in the space, it was delivered in less than two weeks after purchasing. It’s been used every weekend since. Our little ones sleep in the quest room every weekend as a treat and on those nights they both sleep the nights through. I keep recommending this sofabed to friends and family a lot.

A1 item & service

I chose the king size with the plus wool mattress in hopsack turquoise and the wood in ebony stain. I really love the colour of the futon! The bed sofa looks absolutely fantastic, and it's very comfortable to sit as well as sleep on as well. Assembly was not a lark, but pretty straightforward (although I had it done, since I have two left hands...), done in less than 2 hours, and the lads and lassies from Funky Futon are really great - A1 service! Only 2 slight drawbacks - the folding back is a bit difficult with the quite heavy king size, and the storage drawer does not hold all the bedding. But both things are probably impossible to remedy - there are certain limits to what you can do, after all - so no reason to deduct even a single star. Thank you so much for everything!

We bought this to fit in an awkward space in our second bedroom. It looks great, we've had reports that its very comfortable to sleep on and its really easy to pull out and put back. We're really happy with the purchase!

Very pleased

We bought this to be a handsome addition to the spare room/office. It works very well as both a sofa and guest bed. Delivery was as promised and quality very good as tested by a range of guests too. The videos help remind us how to put it up and down each time too - not that it is hard - and are much appreciated. Instructions could be clearer on assembly but that is a minor quibble. We have and do recommend.

Edinburgh Sofabed.

I bought the king-size Edinburgh with pocket-flex hopsack fabric mattress, my partner and I have slept on it every night for a week and it's really comfortable. The frame is very sturdy, but easy and quick to switch from futon to bed . Assembly was pretty straight forward and took about 1.5 hrs. Customer service is excellent.

Edinburgh Futon Sofabed

Ours was delivered on time. Build time, working by myself, was under 2 hours. I'm very pleased with it. It is well made, sturdy and great to look at. Easy to convert. My only minor issue is that the mattress cover seems about loose (but maybe I'm being picky or there's a reason why it is the way it is). Otherwise it would have been 5 *.
