Our Cottage Bed Frame is a Traditional Strong Bed Base, made so much better than an import made and packed to suit the container it arrived in rather than the people it will support, we believe when you pay a little bit more, you get more satisfaction and comfort and in return a bed which last so much longer.

Our workshop specializes in making high end products at the lowest possible prices, all made in the United Kingdom, this is why we can offer such a massive range of sizes and finishes, unlike our competitors who have little choice and offer only the popular double and king size models in unfinished pine, we have invested in our team and have a full time finishing sprayer, unlike most imports or cheaply made joinery, we can finish all our frames to a high furniture finish for a very low price, for such work, we stain with water based stains in popular palette colours, we then spray with a sealing varnish and softly sand, once dry, we spray with a satin clear varnish, this is one area, you can be duped, and even pay more for, not many futon shops have their own Spray Booth, so will merely just wipe a coloured stain onto the pine, this can easily be missed and you receive a dull piece of furniture.

Cottage Pine Bed Frame with white stain
Bought 1 single & 1 double bed frame, both with white stain with clear varnish. Beautifully hand made and very sturdy, but reasonably priced. One of the beds has its headboard's corners rounded, which I love. I'm sure these bed frames would last decades! Very good value, made in Yorkshire.
Cottage Bed Frame
This is a fantastically sturdy bed frame and I loved that the slats were joined in a roll, making it easy to fit them. It took a bit longer that 45 minutes to put the bed together but it was very simple and the instructions were clear. The ebony stain is gorgeous and we paid a bit extra to have the slats varnished - well worth £100. I was expecting back ache for a couple of weeks going from a divan to slats but it was the best night's sleep we'd had in ages. I can't even tell if my partner gets up in the night, the bed doesn't move! Thoroughly recommend this bed, even with the delivery charge it is a bargain.

Very sturdy built, looks fantastic and gives great support. I use the authentic cotton mattress with it. Will last a lifetime! Very friendly and knowledgeable service.
