Devon Sofa Bed

A big thank you to Andrew, Sam and all at Funky Futon. My 21-year-old grandson was visiting from New Zealand. He is a 6ft 2in rugby player and I needed a sofa bed strong enough to support him. I spoke personally with Andrew who was so helpful and suggested the Devon Futon sofa bed. I am elderly and live alone so Andrew arranged for Sam to deliver and build the futon for me. I was so very grateful and my grandson said that he slept very well. I cannot recommend this company enough!

I love this Futon!

I bought the small double in navy for my studio flat. It serves as a sofa day to day and lots of friends have spent the night on it. It's super sturdy and really comfy -well designed & I'm so happy with it! The fact it came from a lovely family business is the icing on the cake, they were fantastic when I was asking questions before buying etc. Highly recommend!

Great futon

Bought this futon a few months ago and really pleased with the look of it and it's comfort. Perfect for our small spare bedroom.

The futon is very sturdy and folds up really easily. The drawer is a great touch, really handy to have the bedding to hand

Perfect Nursery Futon

We have a pretty small house so our spare room works very hard as a nursery, office and guest bedroom. We needed something that would work as a nursing station for night feeds and a guest bed for visitors, but not take up too much space. We really struggled to find anything close to fitting the bill until we found Funky Futon, but now we're so glad we decided to order the Devon sofa bed. We weren't sure which fabric to choose, but they were incredibly helpful and delivered samples the next day to help us decide. We were worried because we needed a quick turnaround in time for Christmas visitors, but they were very reassuring and delivered even earlier than expected. Not only that, but they drove a very long way to deliver in person! Assembly was easy, and the quality, comfort and appearance of the product is incredible. I'm confident that this futon will serve us well for many years to come, and would highly recommend it to anyone. A big shout out to Andrew and Mark in particular for all the help, keep up the outstanding work!

Bought the small Devon sofabed and extremely pleased with the quality and service. It fits perfectly in my home office. I upgraded to the memory flex mattress and have to say I am really impressed with it. Thank you

Marvellous!

Bought the small double in burnt orange to go in our guest-room-cum-music-room. Delivery was smooth and helpful ( well worth paying the extra for it to be built!). Have had several guests stay now and everyone comments on its style and comfort. The memory foam mattress is really lush and the overall build quality and finish is good. Easy to use, with enough room in the drawer base to store the bedding; it’s the perfect item for our needs. This company offer great personalised and responsive service and deserve your custom!

Hi Mark & team, Just want to say a big thanks for getting the futon to us so quickley. Sergio & James assembled it yesterday. When I woke James this morning he didn't want to get out of the bed. Initally we were a little worried that it may be too small but it's perfect & fits in the room comfortably to and I've also pushed it back from bed to sofa and it glided back easily I now have lots of room to clean which was the purpose for buying it in the 1st place. Thanks again for a brilliant service and all your hard work 5☆.

Review of the small Devon double sofa-bed.

Very pleased with the comfort, build quality and natural materials. The mattress is firm enough but also has a pleasant softness. The phone discussions and information given prior to purchase were very thorough and helpful. The delivery was good and timely.

Devon small sofa bed

Really love new bed, bought it for my 5 years old room, as room only small so it really saves a space daytime when he doesn’t sleep in it and have plenty space to play in the room. Sofa it’s very comfortable to sleep we upgraded to memory foam mattress and it was def worth the money, I slept in it myself and had a great night sleep. When chooosing a bed I really liked that you can choose matterial, colour and wood aswell. Recommend to pay extra for draw as really comfortable for putting the bedding. Highly recommend to get these beds, you will get good quality product specialised for your needs, it is easy to use aswell. And you will also get great customer services as guys are very helpful and give you all help and advise you need !!!

Purchase of the year so far

Good customer service, arrived sooner than expected. Well packaged, easy to put together, beautifully made. Looks fantastic and comfortable too!!

Devon sofabed

Superb sofa bed and excellent value for money. Looks good as a sofa with a wide choice of good quality wood and fabric finishes but main advantage we have found is the bed which is sturdy and super comfortable - we have had someone stay for 5 months and used as a bed only and it is still as good as day it arrived. Far superior to any other sofa beds that I have seen - it could be sold as a bed only! Drawer is useful addition for storage and blends in well with product.

Devon Futon

This is a fabulous piece of furniture and we've been thrilled with it. It looks great, it's solid, so quick and easy to turn into a bed. We have the memory foam mattress and it's incredibly comfortable. Also have the drawer which is well worth getting ~ perfect for storing the bedding. The service was fab~ the guys were helpful and really patient with me whilst I chose the right design. Delivery was prompt. Top quality product and well worth every penny.

Devon sofabed

Really love it. Looks fab. Folding is sooooo easy. I chose the pocket flex mattress and it's really comfy. The sofabed is super-compact (4' with no arms) but still feels big to sleep in. The wood sides and front look fab with golden pine stain that matches everything else in the room. If I'm in a hurry I can fold it with all the bedding on (minus the pillows), and it gets it out the way, and still looks pretty good. Without the bedding, the sofa looks amazing - wonderful choice of fabrics so I colour-matched my room. Mark/others at Funky Futon were really helpful and friendly - got really good advice. Delivery and assembly were excellent. Totally pleased and impressed. My only issue is the drawer is MDF - not a problem but I am going to coat it with MDF sealant.
