Our Nepal Bed Base is a, Unique Platform Bed, supporting any bed or futon mattress, these frames can be used at low cost, to give any mattress a simple yet strong base, Adds the ventilation gap required of Futons and Bed Mattresses, these are not imported items available on multiple websites, we make these ourselves to order.
The Timber is Rebated on each side to give a neat look, where slat ends are not visable, the two panels are fully finished and screwed together, we hate Flat Packs, and try to offer all our products made and assembled in the best possible way, The Platform joins in the middle with solid bolt on legs to raise, these will go through any door and onto the bedroom you require for easily.
Use your own existing mattress, just order the size to suit or choose one of our specialist futon mattresses.

Our Workshop Specializes in making high end products at the Lowest Possible Prices, all made in the United Kingdom, this is why we can offer such a massive range of sizes and finishes, unlike our competitors who have little choice and offer only the popular double and king size models in unfinished pine, we have invested in our team and have a full time finishing sprayer, unlike most imports or cheaply made joinery, we can finish all our frames to a high furniture finish for a very low price, for such work, we stain with water based stains in popular palette colors, we then spray with a sealing varnish and softly sand, once dry, we spray with a satin clear varnish, this is one area, you can be duped, and even pay more for, Not many Futon Manufacturers have their own Spray Booth, so will merely just wipe a colored stain onto the pine, this can easily be missed and you receive a Dull Piece of Furniture.

Bought two small singles in pine finish with bed rolls to go with them. Ordering process was excellent from receiving samples to delivery. The beds and futons are well made and great to look at. Helpful quick response too when I asked for advice on putting everything together.
Great service and great bed
Simple sturdy bed which was very easy to put together. The ability to split apart the bed to two sections makes it super easy to get in to tight areas. Amazing service and turnaround time for this item as well!
Sturdy, beautiful and easy to assemble
This frame is well made, sturdy, super easy to assemble (it literally takes 5 minutes) and comfortable to sleep on. The guys at Funky Futon were all very helpful and customized the frame to suit our needs. Delivery was fast and the delivery person very friendly and helpful as well.
Nepal Bed Frame
We now have 2 super king sized Nepal bed frames. The first we bought and had slightly custom made as we needed a few inches off the length to fit in our room. The second which we bought a couple of years later is a standard super king size. The team at Funky Futon were very easy to deal with and delivered on both occasions exactly what we wanted and more quickly that originally quoted. The beds frames themselves are easy to assemble and provide plenty of support for our super king mattresses. We really like the height hence we stayed away from a bulky divan base. We're very happy with both our purchases. This is a well made base which will last us for years.
Happy with Nepal Futon Bed Base
Delighted with the product, the high quality, the helpful service over the phone. I liked the videos about how to put them together. Very easy to do, also for non-tech person. The only downside was that, living in Scotland, I pay much more for the delivery then those living in other parts of the UK. That is a burden and an unfair system that should be remedied.
